Update and Exhibition Announcements

Hello all of my blog spot friends!

I hope you all had a great summer and are settling into the new fall routine. I have a lot of things going on that I wish to pass along in hopes that it inspires in some way.

I have been wanting to go back to school to get my degree in Fine Arts for quite some time now.
I applied for the fall term this year and got accepted in the the Bachelors of Arts program.
I will transfer into the the Bachelor of Fine Arts program and take on a more full time course load possibly as soon as next year.

For this fall term I am taking Drawing and Intermedia and English. For the winter term I will add to this course load an Art History. These courses I am in this term are proving to be very interesting. I am enjoying the experience of this learning environment. What an amazing place of diversity in culture and idea!

I also have a couple of show announcements!

All Sufficient: By Deltra Powney

Both my husband and I graduated from the Visual Communications program in 1993 at the Medicine Hat College, Alberta, Canada. We will be traveling back to our old stomping grounds next weekend. The painting "All Sufficient" was accepted in the Alumni Show an exhibition celebrating the new space for the program and art gallery.

Reception is at 7pm, September 20,
One On One Gallery, Cultural Centre,
for anyone who is in the area!

It is now a privilege to go back to celebrate the things going on there as this is where education, career and partnership all began for myself and my husband.

I invite you to continue following along on this journey as I post experiences, opportunities and work as time permits. Your support is appreciated beyond measure!

Thank you for your interest.
