The paper underneath was a bit of challenge. I ended up liking this positioning because it looked like the apple was leaving a wake behind it. And as it so happens apple are suppose to help you stay awake. Im told it works better than coffee. I eat apples and then drink coffee. Some days I really need the double hit!

Yes, I've heard that's true about apples. However, on these cold mornings I sure prefer a hot cup of coffee. Very nice painting, Deltra!
