This workshop was part of a weekend ladies retreat held last weekend. The workshop focused on the choices we make when our lives get "interrupted". How we are made or "shaped" plays into how we move through life. And the choices we make and how we are shaped, "leaves a mark" on the people around us. Each point was illustrated by a different painting technique using acrylic paint and was accompanied by a directed mediation reading. The workshop was a great success. The ladies were a lot of fun to work with.
As paint was poured on the canvas the flow was interrupted by the objects placed in its path
Painting in the shapes the objects left. And stamping impressions of images on the surface of the painting.
What a show once all was said and done! A beautiful kaleidoscope of experiences and color!

What a great workshop! Unique, creative and relatively instant gratification and realization of how easy it is to create beautiful images!
Wow what a great idea for a workshop! It sounds like it was a very cool experience. Thanks for the email Deltra. Of course I would definitely like to link up with your blog. Isn't that the amazing thing about blogs - there is always work out there to look at to get the art juices flowing! Keep painting!
