I get lost in the shadows and the light of still life paintings. The push and pull of light and shadow around the objects and the transparency and reflective surfaces created a wonderful playground within this still space.

UPDATE:

My studies at the University of Alberta are coming to an end for this year. I enjoyed exploring new medium, developing a new language to express moments that I find captivating in this life. 

I will post selected images of my work I do during my studies here, however I do look forward to posting new paintings as well.
