This patch of ice was formed by dripping water from the roof of our house. Spring is slowly starting to arrive here and the air and earth is still very could. The sculptural forms of the built up water droplets caught my eye and stuck with me for quiet a few days after taking these photos. I decided to use these forms as a way of considering patten and mark making in a series of monotype prints. I am experimenting with different kinds of paper and collage as well to achieve tactility.
