Here it is, the final painting, I had fun with the texture of the strokes something you just can not see on a computer screen, so for those of you who live in the area if you have a chance I invite you to drop by to see it and my other work in person. Where do I start? Ditto Kim Blair, Ms Mann et al. Wow! Great gloss reflections, the spoon is so stunning, the cinnamon sticks are just too special. I wish I were there to share a cuppa. Christmas in the summer is very WEIRD!

Hi Deltra! Thanks and welcome to my blog! Your paints are dynamite--this one especially! I waslistening to the Rolling Stones as I read your comment and I remember Mick Jagger saying he never liked it when their music gets really "tight." Rather he tries to keep them sounding like a really good garage band. I think I try for similar in my work.
